Network Latency Visualizer – Simulate Packet Flow in Real-Time

The Network Latency Visualizer is an advanced, entirely client-side HTML5/JavaScript tool that empowers IT professionals to dynamically simulate how packets travel through a customized network. Build node topologies using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, connect nodes with adjustable latency, and trigger real-time packet animations that flow through SVG-rendered lines.

Use the visualizer to model latency-sensitive systems, demonstrate the effects of jitter and delays in distributed infrastructures, or enhance cybersecurity training by simulating potential latency attack vectors.

Key features include:

  • 📡 Real-time SVG packet animation
  • 🖱 Intuitive drag & drop node editing
  • 📤 Configurable latency and packet flows
  • 💽 Network state saved to LocalStorage

How to Use

  1. Click Add Node to place nodes on the canvas.
  2. Use Connect Last Two Nodes to create a link with the defined latency.
  3. Press Launch Packet to simulate communication between nodes.
  4. Optional: drag nodes to shift layout manually.

🌓 Dark mode is supported and persistent across sessions!
